Auto Allocator has been known by several different names over the years. It was once known as GhostCraft and Ghost’s Lag Fixes, but today, it is known as Auto Allocator. Auto Allocator is one of Minecraft’s most effective performance optimization tools, and after running it on your build, expect to see noticeable performance improvements.
How does Auto Allocator work? Well, the ‘allocation’ aspect refers to the fact that Auto Allocator 1.6 allows RAM allocation for Minecraft. Users can allocate a certain amount of RAM that is devoted solely to running Minecraft.
RAM allocation can increase performance and reduce framerate stuttering. The Auto Allocator tool also gives users the ability to select “Aggressive Memory Conservation” which is ideal for playing Minecraft on systems with a minimal amount of RAM.
After running the tool, a new .bat file will be created. The creator of the tool promises that Auto Allocator will result in higher FPS and smoother gameplay. It is particularly designed to work well with mid to lower-end computers, and users of higher-end computers will not see a noticeable improvement in performance.
