If you ever thought that the lighting in vanilla Minecraft was a bit bland, then the Coloured Lights Mod 1.6 can help. It adds an array of coloured blocks into the Minecraft world, allowing you to light up dark passageways or simply decorate your home.

The blocks come in 7 different colors, including black, white, red, yellow, green, blue, and even cyan. Once placed in an area, the blocks glow with that colour and will exude that colour into the surrounding terrain, blocks, or whatever else is near it. It’s a nice looking effect that many Minecraft players will appreciate.

Crafting these coloured blocks is an easy process. Players simply combine Glowstone with whatever special coloured dyes they have. After being applied to a block, the block will start to glow with that colour.

The Coloured Lights Mod adds a small feature into the game, but Minecraft players have wanted something like this for a long time. Whether you need to light up a dark part of your world in a unique way, or you simply want your house to look as cool as possible, the Coloured Lights Mod 1.6 can help.
