Elevators are a very useful invention in Minecraft. They let you climb up mountains with ease or instantly ascend to your fortress in the sky.
Unfortunately, as you know, there are no elevators in vanilla Minecraft. There are just slow-moving awkward ladders.
That’s a problem that the Dynamic Transport Mod seeks to solve. The Dynamic Transport Mod is a currently-in-development mod that uses the SlimevoidLib to create dynamic moving elevators and other useful transportation tools inside Minecraft.
In the video featured above, you can get a sneak peek at the following features:
-3D Elevators: Players can now make a “proper elevator room”
-Elevator Calling Block: There are plans to add an elevator caller device that will let players call the elevator to their level.
-Elevator Proximity Sensor: Planned feature that will let different floors light up with redstone signals as the elevator travels up and down.
-Naming Floors: Floors will have descriptive names, making it easy for players to name and label different floors they can travel to.
The mod currently works although it is in active development. There are bugs that crash your game, so you might want to hold off downloading until a more polished release is available.
Still, once the Dynamic Transport mod gets everything together, it’s going to be an incredibly useful mod for your Minecraft world and structures.
