Some Minecraft players feel that ‘Peaceful’ difficulty is too easy, but ‘Easy’ difficulty isn’t much fun. If you’re one of those players, then the Harder Peaceful Mod 1.6 was designed with you in mind.
After installing the Harder Peaceful Mod, players will encounter a more difficult version of the Peaceful difficulty setting. In vanilla Minecraft, Peaceful difficulty prevents mobs from attacking players, and they casually roam outside the home without pestering you or other mobs. It’s a relaxing experience, but the Harder Peaceful Mod tries to make gameplay a little more interesting by modifying the health regeneration meter.
Specifically, the Harder Peaceful Mod deactivates health and food regeneration. So, instead of automatically gaining back health every time you take damage, you’ll have to heal yourself and eat food in order to survive.
There are some things to know about the Harder Peaceful Mod. In Peaceful mode, players will not be able to collect bones or rotten flesh, and many mob drops will be very rare. Since some mob drops – like brewing ingredients – are vital, this can complicate gameplay, which is why many experienced Minecraft players will shy away from this mod.
Ultimately, Harder Peaceful Mod isn’t deep or complex. It simply removes the regeneration effects from vanilla Minecraft. If you don’t want to spend your days fighting mobs, but you don’t want gameplay to be entirely automated, then the Harder Peaceful Mod 1.6 is a perfect way to enhance your game.
