If you want to enhance the appearance of Minecraft without putting too much strain on your graphics card, then Jolicraft is a popular option in the Minecraft community. The creator of Jolicraft promises that the texture pack will make the game a little jollier by washing “the dust away from your dreary world.”
What exactly does that mean? Well, Jolicraft improves Minecraft’s texture system by making it more homely, warm, and inviting. The greens are softer, the interface is more cartoonish, and the water looks like it’s been warmed by the sun.
As with all texture packs, the best way to figure out the Jolicraft experience is to look at screenshots. The biggest difference appears in the foliage. The greens are a distinctly different color and the browns have also been slightly altered.
Whether you think you live in a dreary world or not, the Jolicraft texture pack is visually impressive. Since textures are all available in 16×16 resolution, this pack won’t put much strain on your computer’s resources. If you can run vanilla Minecraft at a decent framerate, then you should be able to run Jolicraft without a problem.
