MCDungeon for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.6
MCDungeon is Minecraft’s popular dungeon generation tool. Using MCDungeon, players can create a procedurally generated dungeon in any Minecraft map. Each dungeon is unique, leading to a new Minecraft experience with every playthrough.
The MCDungeon tool works on existing Minecraft maps, and the tool automatically scans the world to find the best place in which to build a dungeon. This location is based on the range, size, and depth of a certain location. The MCDungeon tool even scans the world for player structures and tries not to overwrite these areas while creating new dungeons.
Here are a few of MCDungeon’s most popular features:
-Hard mode: Dungeons are filled with concentrated monster spawns, making them even more difficult for players to discover.
-Massive dungeons: Some dungeons are so large that players cannot see the roof or the other end of the room. This tool creates massive dungeons for players to explore, and the effects are awesome. It feels like you’re exploring a whole new world inside Minecraft, and the large dungeons can keep players busy for hours on end.
-Multiple dungeons per map: The MCDungeon tool can be used to fill the map with as many dungeons as possible, or it can build one or two select dungeons on a single map.
-Varied layouts: Dungeon rooms are randomly created with hallways, floors, ruins, features, traps, and more. Different levels of light also add new challenges to each dungeon room.
-Multi level dungeons: Stairwells move players up and down between floors of the dungeon, and some dungeon entrances have spiral staircases that lead to a tower. Tower height can be edited, creating dungeons that extend both above and below the ground.
-Loot chests: Every dungeon features loot chests in hard to reach places. Loot is also a configurable property, which means players can control how much or how little loot will spawn.
-Random trap placement: When the mod creator promises that these dungeons are dangerous, he means it. Each dungeon features random secret traps throughout each level, making it a very dangerous place for players to explore.
-Dungeon maps and floor plans are outputted to external files, which means players can see where they’re going (if needed). These maps are automatically saved to HTML files on the player’s computer.
-And so much more: The creator of this tool doesn’t give everything away in his description. Instead, he wants players to discover everything in MCDungeon for themselves.
