Metaworlds for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

The world of Minecraft is already rather large and diverse.  MMM_MasterM’s Metaworlds Mod makes the world even more interesting and expansive by adding the option to create mobile structures out of blocks!

If you are reading this and you are not thinking about making an airship of some sort by this point, there is something seriously wrong with your thought process.  Creating an airship, floating island, mobile air base, or potentially even a mobile home are all possibilities with this mod.  These structures can also rotate and can be changed in-game, even while they are in motion.

Creating these structures, known in the mod as sub-worlds, is quite simple.  A new block called the SubWorldCreator is added to the game, and can be placed anywhere.  Anything built off of this block is then considered part of a separate world and can be controlled with the SubWorldController block.

The controller block is activated by right clicking it.  This causes the player to “mount” the sub-world, moving it with the game’s standard controls.  The control and spacebar keys move the world down and up, respectively.

While this mod is incredibly interesting, there’s not much else to it – simple and effective!  If you are not satisfied with just a description, feel free to check out this video by the creator of the mod:
