Multi mine or Multi-mine is a gameplay enhancing mod created by a talented mod maker under the username AtomicStryker, and it is now updated for Minecraft 1.8!
Tired of holding left click to mine a single block, then you suddenly and accidentally move the mouse to point something else and reset the mining procedure? If that happens to you often then you must be pretty frustrated by now, luckily this mod is made just for you.
Multi mine is a gameplay changing immersion mod that lets players mine multiple blocks at the same time without holding the mouse button. With this mod installed you can pause, walk away, mine another block, and do whatever you want while mining. You can also mine a block, switch tool or position, or kill those damn creeper and get back to your mining to finish it.
As of Multi Mine version 1.3.2, the mod was completely networked. Thus it now works for multiple people on a server! Meaning, players can now take turns beating a Block, or mine a single block together for more Speed!!!
If you are thinking that since most blocks are fast to mine using the right tool and this mod should be pointless, then you are dead wrong. Zombies can also take turns in smashing your doors -resulting in more doors being smashed, using low tier tools should be easier when mining a block together with friends, and mining dangerously should be less dangerous by now as you can fight and mine at the same time.
The mod also has its limitations however, block Damage is limited to 30 Blocks at a time across the server and the entire minecraft world, if you damage a block beyond that number, the first block on the queue will be repaired. Block damage is also not save on server restart or in any client and should not interfere with your savegames. Damaged Blocks regenerate “slowly” after an initial short duration so you shouldn’t have to worry about having cracks on your walls.
