The Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask Texture Pack is the most popular Zelda texture pack available to the Minecraft community today. With nearly 200,000 downloads, the Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask Texture Pack (often known simply as Majora’s Craft), is the official texture pack used by the HyruleCraft Project, a mod which seeks to combine the worlds of Hyrule and Minecraft together.
So what kinds of new features can you expect while using the Majora’s Mask texture pack? Here are a few of the changes that this texture pack introduced to the Minecraft world:
-New textures for every item in the game. Every item has been edited to reflect a real item found in one of several different Zelda games. For example, the Diamond Sword has been retextured to become the Fierce Deity Sword from Majora’s Mask.
-New mobs are meant to replicate mobs found in Hyrule. For example, Sheep have been retextured as the Ordon Goats from Twilight Princess, and Villagers have been retextured as characters like Pamela’s Father from Majora’s Mask or the Old Hag from Ocarina of Time.
-New environments built to bring the world of Hyrule into Minecraft, including snow textures and other unique biome designs.
-Completely new GUI to replicate the playing experience of various Zelda games. For example, menus now feature classic Zelda logos like the Triforce, while critical hit particles now appear when attacking mobs. Other features, like the map, enchanting interface, health bars, and armor meters have also been changed to ensure that everything looks as authentic to Zelda games as possible.
Most of the textures are designed to replicate items and features from either Majora’s Mask or Ocarina of Time. If you’re a fan of either of these two games, then you’ll love playing the Major’s Craft texture pack. Download it today to try it out for yourself!
