Sick of building things with wood and ore? Ready to unlock a new technology tier? PlasticCraft 1.6 adds plastic into the Minecraft world, allowing players to create everything from wood flour to C4 and trampolines.

PlasticCraft mod was built by TehKrush, one of the Minecraft community’s most prolific mod creators. TehKrush is also the creator of popular mods like Power Converts, MineFactory, Portable Workbench, and several others.

PlasticCraft adds a surprising number of recipes into Minecraft. While other mods might add 5 or 10 different recipes, PlasticCraft adds closer to 50. After all, plastic is a whole new technology tree, and there a number of new materials that players must create in order to use it to its full advantage.

For example, many of the advanced plastic items require players to make synthetic string, silicon, and even plastic goo. As players move deeper into the plastic technology tier, they’ll find items like batteries, integrated circuits, C4 detonators, and even night vision goggles. For those who are sick of experiencing fall damage, players can even craft special Shock Absorbing Boots that completely nullify the effects of fall damage.

One of the most basic units in PlasticCraft is the plastic block. However, unlike other Minecraft blocks, plastic blocks can be colored in all sorts of different ways. Players are no long restricted to base colors, and they can now add everything from light blue to fuchsia coloring to the blocks around them.

One of PlasticCraft’s most popular features is C4. C4 is extremely powerful and can be used to carve deep holes into the ground. And, if you want C4 to be even more powerful than ever before, you can alter its detonation time and explosive power in PlasticCraft’s configuration files.

Players can also enhance their buildings with items like plexiglass doors and microwaves. If you’ve ever thought your buildings could use a touch of modernity, then the PlasticCraft adds one of the 20th century’s most popular technical innovations into the mix.

Whether you want to blow up the world around you or enhance it with multi-colored plastic blocks, PlasticCraft allows players to completely immerse themselves into the world of plastic technology.
