If you’re looking for the easiest way to change your in-game Minecraft character, then you’ve found it. The ShapeShifter Mod allows players to instantly change their character model to just about any mob in the game by simply pressing the ‘U’ key.
Along with changing the player model and its animations, the ShapeShifter Mod gives players the unique attributes and characteristics of the mob they’ve turned into. This can give players a number of key advantages when traveling around the map, mining for ore, and fighting off enemies.
After changing into a new mob, the dimensions of the game world will also change. While vanilla Minecraft players can’t walk through holes that are one block high, the ShapeShifter Mod allows players to do that by turning into a wolf. However, if you were to press ‘U’ and change into an Enderman, then you would only be able to walk through holes that were at least three blocks high.
A fair bit of thought has gone into making this mod as useful as possible. There is an expanded user interface that allows players to easily use the new ability that each mob offers. For example, pressing ‘H’ as a wolf or ocelot will cause you to shift into a sitting position.
Or, pressing ‘G’ as a chicken will allow you to fly through the air. In general, the ‘G’ key allows players to use each unique ability offered by the mob. Golems will whack enemies that are far away, for example, while fish will be able to see perfectly underwater after pressing the ‘G’ key.
Whether you want to go into third-person view and see yourself as another mob, or you want to unlock cool new attributes, the ShapeShifter Mod unlocks a world of possibilities for Minecraft players. Download it today and start shifting into a spider, ocelot, chicken, wolf, creeper, and other models.
