Steelfeathers’ Enchanted Texture Pack promises to provide a unique fusion of Victorian elegance and fairy tale mystery. The texture pack is best described as a mix between Lord of the Rings and Beauty of the Beast, or at least that’s how the texture pack’s creator – Steelfeathers himself – describes it.
The result of all this fusion and experimentation is an enchanted world that seems straight out of the medieval times. Players can build dark, imposing grey castles. Or, they can opt for a simpler, more rural lifestyle by creating a cobblestone pathway leading up to their brick-roofed house.
The textures – both building textures and natural landscapes – tend to be darker than they are in vanilla Minecraft. This gives the entire game a more RPG-like appearance. The game looks particularly good at night and when lit by torches. In short, it’s easy for players to immerse themselves in the unique surroundings.
Steelfeathers’ Enchanted Pack can be downloaded in 32x resolution, which is twice the resolution of vanilla Minecraft. It won’t strain the system as much as some of the higher resolution texture packs, although if your game already has trouble running vanilla Minecraft, you might notice a drop in framerates.
