The Camping Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

Originally, Minecraft is all about survival, and this mod brings outdoor survival back into the game.

Created by username _Rikmuld_, this mod adds modern outdoor camping and survival aspect to the minecraft game by adding new mechanics, mobs, items, tents, and so much more.

Basically this mod adds themed specific things, but it touches almost all genre – well except worlds and dimensions.

The Camping mod adds a utility pocket knife which revolves most of the mod’s new recipes. This material is crucial for outdoor survival, as with real life.

Camping back packs are also added to carry all your extra stuffs, a tent with a fancy GUI that you can modify according to your needs – you can change the tent for sleeping or for your items.

The new campfire can also be used to provide a long lasting light source or can be used to cook/ grill food items that you can eat.

On the range of new items, several defensive items are also added. These includes bear traps that damages and immobilize a mob, barbed wire fences, and even a new set of leather/ fur armor that you can use in the wild.

New mobs are also added into the game. The mobs added are also in theme of outdoor survival and thus therefore includes bears, deers, and bunnies. These  mobs can be hunted down for food while adding a good nature vibe to any woods.

In addition to the things mentioned above, this mod also adds tons of other camp-related items such as canvas, wood log for sitting and other Easter eggs.,

Perhaps the best thing that I love about this mod is the campfire cooking which looks aesthetically pleasing and the fancy tent. Traps can also be used for battling vanilla monsters which are a good addition to any survival game.
