The Tinkers’ Construct mod, also known as TConstruct, is about putting tools together in a wide variety of ways and then modifying them until they turn into something else. At least, that’s how the mod’s creator, mDiyo, describes the mod.
To be more specific, TConstruct adds a vastly expanded tool modification system to Minecraft. Players ‘tinker’ with tools using a Tool Station. Tools can be modified, renamed, and changed until the player is happy with how they came out. In order to create these new tools, players will need to use patterns and stencils.
A good tool comes with a range of different functions. Players can customize tools according to their unique needs. The mod’s creator suggests that TConstruct is best used on adventure or CTM maps, or on any mods that adds dungeons to explore.
But Tinkers’ Construct is about more than just creating tools. The mod also adds some world generation features and gives players the ability to melt down ores and combine them together to form various metals. Using these ore combinations, players can craft crazy new tools and weapons.
If you’ve grown tired of the default selection of swords, shovels, and pickaxes, then you’ll find more swords, shovels, and pickaxes than ever before in the Tinkers’ Construct mod. In fact, there are hundreds of cool new tools that can be created through this mod, making it one of the deepest mods available in the Minecraft community today.
