Minecraft’s default inventory system can feel a bit restrictive. Of course, the restrictive inventory was designed to make Survival mode more difficult, but those who want to experiment with the game could certainly appreciate a more expanded inventory system.
And so we have the Too Many Items Mod, an extremely popular mod that gives players a lot more options when it comes to inventory management. Here are some of the Too Many Items Mod’s most popular features:
Unlimited stacks: Players can now have unlimited stacks and unlimited use tools. Simply shift-click on any item in the right sidebar to add unlimited stacks of that item.
Delete items: The Too Many Items Mod allows you to delete any item in the game. Simply drop any item stack onto the trash icon or the item sidebar to delete it. You can also toggle delete mode on or off. When ‘on’, delete mode allows you to click on any item in order to get rid of it. You can even shift-click the trash icon to wipe out your entire inventory.
Fast crafting: Instead of crafting the same item over and over again, you can press right click on the output square to automatically craft as many of those items as possible.
Toolbar: The Too Many Items Mod isn’t just about inventory management. It also has features that allow players to easily alter the game world. There is a simple toolbar that features options like toggle rain, set time (dawn, noon, dusk, or midnight), and toggle creative mode. You can easily disable this toolbar if you don’t like it, but most players appreciate it.
Toggle the mod on/off: You can instantly toggle the Too Many Items Mod on or off by pressing ‘O’ in the inventory screen. However, in single player, the mod will be on by default.
Save your inventory: Have you ever wanted to preserve an inventory for use at a later date? With the Too Many Items Mod, you can! Simply save your inventory into one of a few designated slots and then reload it whenever you want.
The Too Many Items Mod is a deep and effective configuration mod for Minecraft. It frees players from the restrictive inventory system, making it easier to craft the items you need as quickly as possible. Install it today, and if you don’t like it, you can easily disable it by pressing ‘O’.
