As anyone who has played Fallout already knows, the Wasteland is what’s left after humanity obliterates itself in a nuclear war. The Wasteland Mod seeks to bring the harsh beauty of Fallout’s Wasteland environment into the Minecraft world.
With the Wasteland Mod, players can explore a desolate, post-apocalyptic environment. The mod generates a map with no grass, a minimal number of trees, no oceans, and a number of other uniquely apocalyptic features.
The sky has changed to a dark red color, desert oases are few and far between, and it’s clear that players are living in a world that was devastated by nuclear war. The mod’s creator claims that the year’s is 1337.
There are few features scattered around the Wasteland world, although these features will help players survive. Randomly generated house foundations contain chests with useful items, and random oases will rarely appear in the desert. Simply surviving in this world will be difficult, and players will have to explore in order to stay alive.
Whether you’ve played Fallout before or you just want to explore a completely new and desolate environment, the Wasteland Mod 1.6 will keep players entertained. Check it out today to start experiencing a whole new world.
