Explore the world, discover wonders, and battle epic bosses – that’s the experience that this map is offering you.
Created by username m0ndy and his team of talented map makers, Wayward Wonders is an open world complete the monument (CTM) map with elements of adventure and survival.
In this map, players must explore the land and defeat bosses to free the wonder that they posses – in doing so you can get items to which you can complete your monument.
Unlike most CTM maps, this one features two monuments that you need to complete: the first is the Adventure Monument (12 blocks), and the second is the Wool Monument (15 blocks) – most of the blocks are categorize into exploration and/or reward loot and is tied to a major location on the map, and it’s up to the player to discover and collect them all.
Completing the Adventure Monument will allow the player to access the final battle and the final block.
Every time a wool block is placed on the monument, the player will be rewarded a random bonus reward of a high value item. Wool blocks are scattered across the map to reward those who love to explore.
Because this map is an open world, you are not controlled or hinted on which direction you should go, at the start, all you need to do is pick a direction and go for it – play it like you play vanilla Minecraft – but with random events and epic locations to discover.
Overall, I highly recommend this map to anyone who wishes to play CTM or just explore – you may also just use creative mode and appreciate the wonderful epic replicas of the world’s wonders. The stunning builds, the random events, and the well-polished over-all map, make this map of my favorites.
