Weapon Recipes for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.6
Swords: Swords are the basic way to deal damage in the Minecraft world. When attacking mobs with a sword, players will do more damage than they would if they attacked mobs by hand. To craft a sword, simply place a stick on the bottom row of a crafting window, then place two wooden planks, cobblestones, iron ingots, gold ingots, or diamond gems directly above the stick on the next two rows.
Bows: Bows are Minecraft’s only ranged attack weapon. To craft a bow, combine three sticks with three pieces of string in a 3×3 crafting window. In order to deal damage with a bow, players will also need to craft arrows.
Arrows: To craft an arrow, place a piece of flint in the top row, a stick in the middle row, and a feather in the bottom row. Make sure all of the items are aligned vertically. Arrows are used to deal damage with bows.
