The Wolfhound Texture Pack (often known simply as the Wolfhound Pack) adds high-detail hand-colored textures into the Minecraft world. The texture pack’s creator, Thistle, promises that all textures are 100% original, and that no textures have been copied and pasted.
The Wolfhound Pack makes every landscape and structure in Minecraft seem more majestic. As a 64×64 resolution texture pack, Wolfhound noticeably improves the graphical quality of the game. But the new graphical style is what most players will instantly notice. Trees and terrain are now richer shades of green and brown, and waterfalls look more beautiful than ever before.
Thistle refers to his mod as being “highly ornate” and complete with plenty of “miniscule details” that enhance the game. Like many textures packs, the best way to discover what the Wolfhound Pack is like is to view screenshots or videos.
The Wolfhound Texture Pack 1.6 also allows players to design very cool new structures. Players can build a castle for their home, for example, or decorate that home with new artwork. The terrain, environments, and natural features have also been improved in a number of noticeable ways.
Thistle also plans to add several different types of ‘flavors’ onto the Wolfhound Texture Pack. Each flavor would give the texture pack a totally different appearance. For example, the Heavenly flavor brightens up every texture in the game and turns it to different shades of white and light brown. Meanwhile, the Dungeon texture pack is the polar opposite, and it leads to darkened colors everywhere players look. There are also Asian, Corruption, and Fairy flavors, all of which can be viewed in the official forum thread for Wolfhound.
If you’re ready to add medieval architecture, beautiful natural scenery, and custom-designed artwork into your Minecraft world, then the Wolfhound Pack is built to impress. Check it out today.
